The Wildcat Creek is a public waterway patrolled and enforced by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

HOW LONG IS A STANDARD TRIP?

The standard time of a float trip is 2 hours. Actual float time varies, depending on water depth, paddling speed, and time of day.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

Yes!

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Canoeing Tips

Here are a few tips for a safe and fun canoeing experience. 

  • Never bring these items: cell phone, car keys, passport or other expensive items that should not get wet.

  • Always wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet.

  • Paddle on opposite sides of the boat.

  • Paddle in synch with your partner.

  • Keep your paddle shaft vertical. 

  • Wear your life jacket.

  • Dress for the water temperature, not the air temperature.

  • Know your limits.

  • Sunscreen in all the right places.

  • Pack something fun along for a little floating flair.
